Building relationships and presenting your message in right places will make your sales efforts successful.

Sales Tips

    Members of a community communicate with each other and are likely to refer each other to businesses they have worked with in the past. These referrals can triple your sales efforts within that community. Below are examples of communities you can target and ways to do it:

    •  Be a Know-It-All - Information is valuable. There are many creative ways you can use information to promote products and services. Some uses are found in our sales tips below. Visit our Articles section to find content material you can reuse to promote CLT.
    •  Corporations - Our No Closing Cost Loan/Title Program can be offered to employees as part of their benefits package. Expand your sales base further by allowing the benefit for employees and their family. Inform employees of this new benefit with flyers in their payroll envelopes every couple of months, a link to our online brochure on the company website, the pull tag flyer hung in common areas such as the break room, and informative articles printed in company newsletters.
    •  Organizations and Groups - Organizations or Groups such as Churches, Synagogues, Lions Club, Rotary Club, Moose Lodges, and Special Interest Clubs often welcome speakers to share information with their members. They often have newsletters you can provide articles for or advertise in cheaply or even free. Some groups will allow you to set up a table outside a monthly meeting and speak to members as they enter and leave.
    •  Email Marketing - Gather email addresses from interested parties- members of clubs and organizations you’ve contacted, employees of corporations, realtors, mortgage brokers, etc. and email them informative articles on a regular schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). These can be title articles, real estate market articles, home articles. Give an added bonus by allowing real estate agents and mortgage professionals the right to reprint your articles in their newsletters as long as you receive credit with your contact information included. Group Mail is a free bulk email software that will allow you manage multiple email lists and send one email to large numbers of people. Vertical Response is a free online email marketing tool that will allow you to do essentially the same thing.
    • Invest in Investors- Investors are real estate savvy individuals who demand good pricing and excellent service. They know enough about the business not to be afraid of choosing their own companies to do business with. You can find investors by calling the number on the “We Buy Houses” ads. You can also find investors through your local Investor’s Association. Find these associations by entering the search term “PA or FL Investors Association” into Google.
    • Labor Unions - Similar to the Corporations topic above, Labor Unions can offer our Save Thousands at Closing program to union members as a membership benefit. Unions can be found in school districts, law enforcement, construction and more.

Networking

    Networking is one of the best and most cost-effective ways to build a referral-prospecting system. It is the key to growing a business in any industry, as it helps build long-term relationships with prospects and referral sources.

    Networking events are often frequented by Real Estate Agents and Mortgage Officers. Often, free networking events, also known as business card exchanges, are held regularly by local Chambers of Commerce. Check the links below for Networking Events in your area.
